Join me for a transformative 5 night yoga retreat in Monchique, Portugal Intention: Beneath your thoughts, feelings, emotions, sensations and even your breath is a luminous field of awareness. Always present, this boundless space is the ground for all experience. Through intentional practices such as: ​ Morning Yoga Nidra Embodied Meditation Slow Hatha Yoga Conscious Connected Breathwork and more we will discover the vast wakefulness within. Nothing new to create, just everything to return to. A deeply nourishing week that will leave you more connected to your inner light, nature and of course, one another. Location: Casa de Cura is hidden in the heart of the Serra de Monchique of the Algarve, 15 minutes from our nearest town, Monchique; 40 minutes from our nearest city, Lagos; and worlds away from the daily hustle. Our closest airport is Faro, 50 minutes away. Venue: Casa de Cura is quite literally the home of healing. Cocooned within a valley surrounded by mountains and an abundance of flowers and orange, olive, eucalyptus and oak trees. Casa de Cura is the antidote to the modern fast-paced world. Food: At Casa de Cura, food plays an essential role in retreat life, connecting us to the earth and one another around the dining table. All of the meals here are organic, seasonal, and vegetarian. We'll have a wonderful private chef who sources fresh and local produce to ensure you feel well cared for and well nourished. Yoga: Casa de Cura’s Yoga Shala is nestled within an olive grove, hidden amongst bamboo and Wisteria vines. This sacred space accommodates 12 + people. In addition to the Shala, there is a Meditation Deck elevated on the first floor of The Mill, which is the perfect place for a sunrise meditation/ nidra. Daily Schedule: Morning silence and or Yoga Nidra 2 hour morning yoga practice Brunch massage, activity, hike, rest, workshop, swim, snack 2 hour evening yoga practice Dinner Some nights nidra, cacao, sound baths and more
