I provide as many opportunities as possible to deepen your yoga practice and connect with like minded individuals whilst enjoying the beautiful surroundings of Scotland. Attending a yoga retreat is much more than a weekend away.  It's time spent nurturing and nourishing yourself through practice and connection, an opportunity to down regulate your nervous system, an opportunity to soften. Scotland provides the gorgeous backdrops and landscapes to connect with our natural environments.

Spring Awakening

Y O G A   R E T R E A T

Join me on this 3-night yoga retreat to reawaken the body leaving you lighter and brighter as you welcome the new season. - WALKS - SPRING CLEANSE

Early Spring! What a gorgeous time to gather and together, give yourself a little spring clean to reawaken from winter's slumber and shift any heavy or stagnant energy after the previous month's hibernation. Revitalising morning yoga practices that will be fluid in nature to gently wake up the body, get lymph moving and build strength. Evening breathwork and restorative practices to release and reset the nervous system. Plus, a lot of Ayurvedic inspired practices to gently and effectively detoxify the systems of your physical, mental and emotional bodies. Teas, self-massage, salt baths etc. Options to walk solo or as a group through the magical Abernethy Forest, Cold Water Dips, Rest and CONNECT.

Our morning and evening yoga sessions will be in the magical woodland tipi, as close to practising outside but away from the ever-changing Highland climate. There is something truly special about tipi sessions as you can really connect with the natural elements. And the fire, candles and music really heighten the experience - making it truly unforgettable.

Yoga Retreat Aviemore

July 14th - 17th 2022 - SOLD OUT
A weekend of Joy in Cairngorms National Park
Are you looking to reignite or rediscover Joy in your life? Join me this July in Aviemore to allow uncertainty, tension and tightness to release as we immerse ourselves in yoga, swimming, play, self care, nourishing food and connection.

Enjoy twice daily yoga practices that include movement, breathwork and meditation. Creative, playful and fiery morning practising igniting the fire within. Sweet heart opening yin/restorative practises in the evening. Optional afternoon workshops. I've designed this weekend around one word: Joy. I've found myself asking 'Where is the Joy?' lately. And finding answers in the simplest of mindful practises, subtle connections to nature and inviting in play. So I'd love to share these things with you and more, to not just live, but thrive this summer.

“Many people are alive but don’t touch the miracle of being alive.” ~Thich Nhat Hanh.

We'll spend our 3 nights at Inshriach Estate which is around 4 miles outside Aviemore on the backroad (B970) between Inverdruie and Feshiebridge.
Inshriach House is and Edwardian Country House which has been creatively and quirkily restored. It sits in a 200 acre estate in the Cairngorms National park, surrounded by forests and mountains and bordered by 3 miles of the River Spey. We'll have access to all of this for the weekend! I've added A LOT more free time into this retreat than previous retreats, so you can choose to make it a relaxing weekend, plenty of places to rest or read or sit by the water. Or you can choose to explore the grounds or even walk further afield. There's a gorgeous swimming spot on the estate to wild dip or swim, plus a quirky little sauna right next to it!

I'm so excited to have Emma of Holistic Soul Healing share a Sound Healing session with us on the Friday night. Sound healing is a therapeutic experience that affects all the cells in your body. It's a deeply restorative and transformative experience. All you have to do is lay there for this unique experience of sound.

Our nourishing food will be be prepared by Pauline, one of Edinburgh's top feeders and foodies! Pauline lives to feed others, her meals are as pleasing on the eyes as the taste buds. She'll have prepared breakfast and lunch buffets, a 2 course dinner and plenty of snacks throughout the day.

There are 5 doubles, 2 twins and 3 singles in the main house. Bathrooms are all shared. Prices are based on rooms and include everything for 3 nights stay excluding transportation to and from venue. There is also a Bothy available on the property for you to have all to yourself (or share with 1 other).
